3 styling tips for suits this Autumn ft.JIMMY CHOO shoes

Lets Face it, picking and styling a suit isn’t as easy as throwing on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt on. How you style a suit depends on the occasion the suit is being worn for, the time of the day and the style of suit.

While you may think its time to hang up your bright and light summer linen suits away till next year, it doesn’t mean you can bring on that fun and fresh feel through to the autumn season.

So here are my top tips for styling your suit this Autumn.

  • Bring the fun with a swanky pair of trainers

A perfect combination of suave and comfort. Suits are traditionally a classic garment for smart and formal occasions, but times are changing and we could see suits been teamed up with trainers and loafers even on the red carpet of the most formal events. For me, the only exception would be a black tie event. Teaming up a suit with a minimal and clean silhouetted pair of trainers is the best way to execute this style. In. this post I am wearing the Jimmy Choo JETT trainers. A brand I turn to for the most elegant mens footwear, seasons in and out. Although this style which I absolutely love is now sold out, there are even more new exciting styles of trainers available online and instores. My current top pick from this season is CASH a velvet low top trainers with fur lining.

  • Volumise your smart wear

A well tailored suit works wonders every time for any man, irregardless of your body shape, height and physique. What is even better is a well tailored 3 piece suits this Autumn. It would elevate your smart wardrobe as well as keep the warmth and gurantee elegance. Perfect for weddings, engagement parties and black tie events.

  • Silk-Scarf it up in the evenings

A suit can be boring just on its own, so why not make it more interesting by adding layers and textures with a nice thin silk scarf. Even the most basic suit can be totally transformed simply by making this change  as it adds more richness and luxury to your overall look .

What do you think of this current trend – trainer shoes and formal wear? I would love to hear your thoughts.
