“The big idea for V&A Dundee was bringing together nature and architecture, to create a new living room for the city.
Very honoured to be one of the first few people to step feet inside this Museum to get a first glimpse. You can only imagine how much excitement I had in my belly, when I woke up on this crispy sunny day with clear blue skies. SUNNY DUNDEE, did indeed lived up to its famous title.
The £80 million project was funded by the Scottish Government, the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund and Creative Scotland, Dundee City Council, the UK Government, Scottish Enterprise, University of Dundee, Abertay University and a private fundraising campaign.
