Collaboration

Approach people who you know have the same target audience and niche as you. These could be photographers, instagrammers or editors. You could ask to take photos for each other and give credits on each other’s social media platforms, this way you re exposed to their audience and vice versa. If you are a blogger, you could write guest posts to appear as a feature on other blogs as well as create ‘topic relevant’ back links to the blogs of your collaborators.

Surround Yourself  With Like-Minded People

Go to blogger events, store and collection launches, this is the best way to network. Find out about events through twitter and PR websites. Speak to other bloggers and share your experiences with them. Ask for advice from bloggers who have been in the game longer than you have. Don’t be afraid to share your experiences too regardless of how long you have been blogging for. There is enough playing field for everyone in the blogosphere. Remember, ‘It is not how good you are, it is how good you want to be’ – Paul Arden.

Set Goals

Got an idea for a post or the perfect picture for you next Instagram post? Write it down or draft it down. Take pictures or screen shot images you come across that inspire you. Doing this gives you your reference at your finger tips. It allows you to also push your imagination and creativity. Mood boards are also a great way to minimise the much dreaded creativity block all content creators face. Do you want to have a certain number of followers or work with a certain amount of brand by a set time?- then make these goals visible on a board.Your vision of where or who you want to be is the greatest asset you have. Without having a goal it is difficult to score – Paul Arden.

I am going to share with you my wonderful testimonial achieved by following my top 3 guides.

BLK.NICHE X KING APPAREL

By the power of networking at a fashion party, I met the guys of London based creative BLK.NICHE, who told me about a fun and cool collaboration they were going to have with British street wear brand KingApparel. The aim was to create a fly-on-the-wall’ inspired media mode ‘CLicK Bait’, to kick off the Autumn/Winter season in 2017. The campaign was also to feature soon-to-be released music from the BLK.NICHÈ trio, Sorom, AB and iBDXDE, showcasing a new wave of musical artistry rising within the UK scene today.
I jumped at this opportunity because I felt I had a lot to give as well as gain from this collaboration.
On the day of the shoot I met many other creators and guys who were like minded, from the models to the stylists, and photographers, who were there for one thing only, and that was to create.  From this collaboration, I have been able to extend my branches of creative contacts.

Here are some pictures and a video trailer from the shoot.
