I for one have never had the appeal of wearing jumpsuits, but that all changed when I came across this jacquard jumpsuit from ASOS. Questions like ‘how to wear’ and ‘where to wear’ is one that always comes to mind when we find non-conventional pieces of clothing like a jumpsuit. I will be answering these questions when it comes to jumpsuits on this post.
I have teamed up my jumpsuit with a white short sleeve Tshirt and my pair of Gucci Ace sneakers for a very relaxed look. You can amp up the look by pairing with a long sleeve shirt for a smarter boiler-suit appeal. I would wear this in the evening to a super-chic bar at an informal gathering like having drinks with friends or even to a concert.
Give the overall look a more street-style appeal by layering it up with a bomber jacket, which makes it perfect for chilly spring evenings.
The super-edgy smart look is definitely one show stopper of a way to style a jumpsuit. It transforms it from being a daytime piece to an evening piece. I have teamed this up with a a sequins blazer from ZARA, and a pair of BURBERRY patent leather Chelsea boots to give an overall polished high-end finish. I would wear this to a lavish event such as a lavish birthday party or an awards or launch event.
I hope I have inspired you with this post to think out of the box when it comes to picking up non-conventional pieces of clothing from a rack. You can shop the look and other items from my wardrobe using the widget below. I have also linked similar items for those that are now unavailable.
