One pattern that would never go out of style trend is camouflage. Year in, year out you will find camouflage prints in clothing stores, this makes it a pretty timeless motif which would never fall out of the ever changing forward fashion radar.
Many fashion designers have however reinvented ways to wear camo. My personal favourite is BALMAIN which I wrote about here Balmain FW 17/18.
The very earthy tones of green and brown makes the camo print very easy to match with other neutral colours. As it is a bold print , you would want to make it become the focal point of your overall look.
Camo shirts are the easiest to start building your collection from. Paired over denims or Khaki it works extremely well. If camo shirts are not your thing, then it would be wise to invest in an oversized camo jacket. The oversized look is very on trend at the moment, even more so famous by the likes of Kanye West Yeezy collection. Throw it over any Tshirt, it would make for a nice daytime wear and can transition to a casual evening wear.
I feel like a military hero when I wear camo trousers. Besides the incredible and powerful aesthetic it gives it makes for a very practical wear. This is one thing I love about this print, is hardly shows signs of wear so you can definitely get a couple of wears out of it before sticking it in the wash.
I have styled this look with some amazing accessories, The sunglasses are from my current favourite inexpensive and stylish brand MJ BOUTIQUE. You can shop their entire collection with a 10% discount off using code HOWEYDON at check out.
A cross body bag is always an essential accessory in the spring summer seasom, where you would want to carry about a mini bottle of water , your phones and keys in the upcoming festival season,a cross body bag is the answer.
The duffle bag in this post is not camo printed, but has great texture and the aesthetic is very military inspired. It will make for a great overnight or weekend bag Greatly spacious on the inside and light as air, which is a bonus for carrying around.
In this look book I have been heavily influenced by BALMAIN, the look is very over the top yet it works. It just goes to exaggerate how good camo can look if rightly put together
