Its that time of the year many of us love to hate, some think its overrated and don’t need one day out of the 365 days to show someone you love them. Can I just get real here, Love is in the air but not everyone is lucky to be in love at this time of the year. I for instance currently have an affair with building my career and this has put a dent in my love life.
I am a hopeless romantic when I am in love and I give my heart out to the fullest. Now lets not go down this dark path of loneliness lol. Its not what this post is about.
For those who happen to be dating or married at the moment, Valentines day should be that day to add a little spice and excitement. You don’t have to go all out to buy a diamond necklace or go to the poshest restaurant to show your love. I spoke to a few people at a recent event with one question in mind, what do you want for valentines day? An overwhelming response was , “I want a 100 percent attention from my partner”.
A nice dinner, good wine and some sexy underwear is literally all you need, Oh, and switch of your phone, It is a distraction. Yes a piece of jewellery as a gift would be a cherry on the icing but remember you don’t want to be breaking the bank. A very thoughtful inexpensive gift would be more effective in putting a smile on your partners face, and getting you lucky later on.

Red is the colour of the day, so I took a chance to exploit this by going all red. In this editorial, my character is a playful casual chic gentleman, who is newly in love and feels he has met the one.
I am sporting a classic red suit, teamed with white loafers. my accessories are a clutch bag and pair of glasses and my smeyez (smiling with my eyes) of course.
A single rose is my statement- I will always love you and all my affections are concentrated in you alone.

Gentlemen, make an effort, dress to the nines and get ultra stylish. Red is a very flattering colour and looks amazing on any skin tone. If you are not brave enough to go all red, add a dash of it to your outfit, a bow tie, pocket square, or a piece of red accessory in your wardrobe which would flatter your outfit. Show your Valentine that they are special, you are a gentleman, and the real deal who knows how to have a good time.
